What Is Solid Surface Material?

Solid surface is a man-made material typically made from acrylic, polyester or a blend, used for countertops, wall cladding and custom interior elements. Brands like Corian (DuPont) and Hanex (Hanwha) are solid surfaces.

Unlike natural stone, solid surface is non-porous, so it resists stains and bacteria. It can be seamlessly joined—so integrated sinks and continuous backsplashes are possible—and if scratched, it can be sanded and repaired.

In Lebanon, solid surface is used in residential and commercial projects: kitchens, bathrooms, reception desks, healthcare and laboratories. CLOISALL fabricates Corian and Hanex in our Kfarshima facility for projects across the country.
