Corian vs Quartz: Key Differences
Corian is a solid surface (polymer-based); quartz is an engineered stone made mostly of natural quartz and resin. Both are popular for countertops in Lebanon.
Corian can be thermoformed and seamlessly joined, so integrated sinks and curved surfaces are easier. It is repairable if scratched. Quartz is harder and more scratch-resistant but cannot be thermoformed; seams are visible. Quartz typically has a more “stone-like” look.
Choice depends on design (curves vs straight), maintenance expectations and budget. We offer both Corian and HanStone quartz in Lebanon—contact us for advice and quotes.
